SINGER® Lace Presser Foot for Sergers
The Lace Foot makes it easy to serge lace and delicate trims togetherÂ
or onto fabric without damaging the header. The adjustable guide ofÂ
the foot ensures that the stitching will be accurate as well as ensureÂ
that your lace stays intact.
Serger Settings:
Needle: Right needle
Stitch Type: Three-thread overlock
Stitch Length: 2-4
Differential Feed: Normal
Upper Knife: EngagedÂ
Instructions:
1. Snap on the Lace Foot.
2. Position the fabric right side up under the presser foot so thatÂ
desired amount will be cut off.
3. Place lace right side down on top of the guide with the headerÂ
against it.Â
4. The position of the guide can be adjusted with the screw on top ofÂ
the foot. (Loosen
The lace foot can also be used to topstitch ribbon onto fabric:
1. Disengage the knife.
2. Set the serger for a narrow flatlock stitch.
3. Align the ribbon along the guide so that the needles are centered onÂ
the ribbon.
4. Sew.
